CHAD POMEROY - Kroyler Gracie Brown Belt
Chad is a 9 year army veteran who started training Jiu Jitsu in 2006. He is a brown belt red tab Instructor certified under Kroyler Gracie. Multiple tournament wins including the 2014 Michigan Open Champion, Budokahn International Judo Champion, and Battle of the Great Lakes Champion. Chad puts everyone before himself which is just one of the attributes that makes him a great leader and instructor.

JUSTIN ANDREWS - Brown Belt
Justin Andrews is a 6 year Marine Corp veteran, who has been training in Jiu Jitsu since 2006. As a Brown belt Justin has competed in many GI and NOGI tournaments across the east coast. Justin is also the Head Instructor of the Cardio program at Black Lion Jiu Jitsu, his positive attitude and drive to motivate all of the members of the Academy makes him a valuable asset to the gym and the team.

JESSE SEFTON - Brown Belt
Jesse Sefton has been training Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the past 11years, his attention to detail and his technical approach to the art makes him one of Black Lions sought after Instructors.

BEN POSTMUS - Purple Belt
Ben started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2012 under Chad Pomeroy. He has competed in multiple Gi and NoGi tournaments throughout the United States. His patience and dedication to the kids class is fueled by the desire to help children have confidence and respect for others. Ben's dedication to Black Lion and Jiu Jitsu is unmatched. As long as you leave your ego at the door he is happy to share the mat with everyone.
KROYLER GRACIE
Kroyler Gracie is the Grandson of the late Helio Gracie. Kroyler has been learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since he was a young child as it is tradition in his family. Thirst for knowledge has led Kroyler to travel all accross the U.S to train with some of the most knowledgeable Brazilian Jiu Jitsu minds out there, such as GrandMaster Marcio "Macarrao" Stambowsky, Luiz Filho, Ryron Gracie, Nino Schembri and many others. Exposure to ther aforementioned masters has influenced his dynamic style.
